1.3. EDITORIAL POLICY

If the required format is not followed (see Preparing your Manuscript), the paper will not be considered for review.

The author/corresponding author will be electronically informed about the decision to publish or not to publish the article submitted. However, the editorial office reserves the right to edit any part of the accepted paper at it deems appropriate. If this is the case, the revised manuscript will be sent to the author/corresponding author for approval.

Plagiarism will be taken very seriously and will not be tolerated. Submitted articles will be checked with duplication-checking software. If an article which has been sent for review to content plagiarized work or third-party material without the required permissions or sufficient acknowledgment, or the authorship of      the article is contested, we reserve to take appropriate action including but not limited to retracting an article, taking up the matter with the head of an author’s department/dean of the author’s institutions or taking appropriate legal action.

The articles in the journal JCBIS are the ideas of the authors and not the opinions and responsibility of            the organizing committee, editors, editorial staff at Chakrabong Bhuvanarth International Institute for Interdisciplinary Studies, Rajamangala University of Technology Tawan-ok

1.3.1 Authorship

Manuscripts should only be submitted for consideration once the authorization of all contributing authors have been gathered and care should also be taken by the submitting person that the work of all those who have contributed to the manuscript will be acknowledged. Therefore, all parties who have made a substantive contribution to the article should be listed as authors.

1.3.2 Third Party Material

The submitting author must obtain the necessary permission to reuse third-party material in the article (not required for quotations). The exception is that quotations of songs lyric or a poem always requires written permission from the copyholder.

However, if you wish to include any material in your paper for which you do not hold copyright (for example statistic data: images; maps etc.) make sure you that you check the specific regulations of how to use them (will be stated on the related web page) and if required you will have to obtain a written permission form the copyright owner prior to submission. This policy requirement applies to all third-party material.

1.3.3 Funding acknowledgement

JCBIS requires all authors to acknowledge their funding in a consistent fashion under a separate heading. If no grant was provided for the research, please state: this research received no specific grant from any funding agency in the public, commercial, or not-for profit sectors

1.3.4 Declaration of conflicting interests

JCBIS requests authors to include a declaration of any conflicting interests. Conflicts of interest arise when authors judgement may by influenced by special relationships, like receiving research founding or through employment (to state some examples).

1.3.5 Contributor’s publishing agreement

Prior to publication, JCBIS requires the author (the rights holder) to sign a Publishing Agreement, which represents an exclusive license agreement which means that the author retains copyright in the work but grants JCBIS the sole and exclusive right and license to publish for the full legal term of copyright.

1.3.6 Publication Charges (does they exist?/ what about colure printing charge?)

1.3.7 Open Access (does this option exist, and if so how much are the costs?)
